Nubia Focus Pro
by abouroyyan
A project to turn the Nubia Focus Pro into a device with interchangeable lenses. A low-end phone with a camera-like design: a round central camera module 60mm in diameter - about the same as most mirrorless lens mounts - plus a slide mechanism for quick camera access and a shutter button. It uses a Samsung HM6 1/1.67" 108MP sensor.
The lens comes off the main module easily after prying off the metal protective shell. The entire backdoor is replaced with a custom 3D print with a threaded hole for a macro extension tube (Sony E / Canon EOS M, 18mm FFD), plus a C to NEX adapter for C-mount lenses. Cheap adhesive sofa repair stickers give the backdoor a classic camera look.
Photos with external lenses show fairly noticeable color inconsistency - the lens shading is quite strong. Since there is no root access (UNISOC processor), chromatix patching is not possible, so you can use the Mod and Shoot Camera app for custom LSC functionality without root requirements.
